howeveryousaythenameZambreno

So, we had to go and read this article by this "Zambreno" [It's Italian] article about why certain stories keep reappearing over and over and over again. Some of which, doesn't overly surprise me as to why they keep reappearing. If you look at the Greeks and Romans as well as the Egyptians. There is a lot of repatition. Arthurian legends, are no different but are all prime examples of narratives.

They even all have a few basic key tools that they commonly share. We'll look more at the Arthurian legends, since that was what the article was about and I really don't plan on going and reading about the different styles of legends by the Greeks, Romands and Egyptians.

Too lazy and I have more imporant matters on mind.

Such as this blog.

Yippie. >= P

Some of the tools that I caught onto the most was how, authors purposly change on how the story is told and even the infomation within the story they are telling to apply to their readers or views. This didn't overly surprise me but its critical. You wouldn't want to tell something complex to a child and something childish to an adult. You would instand, want to relate to them on how they would understand it and which infomation is best for each type of viewer.

It's like talking to parents and friends. You can say certain words or slang around friends and they will be able to follow and relate to you without offense while with parents, you're more prone to be extremely selective on wording and when to talk and such.

Relationg to the two paragraphs above, now only is the way the context structured but as well as information. Again, stating on how one would give information to a friend rather then a parent. One is more prone to give more of their darker side information to a friend then to a parent. [unless it's just me]. Such information is given in pieces rather then the whole actual information.

Again, there are somethings that are best shared with friends, while others with parents. Too much information can be dangerous as well as too little.

  1. Totally agree with what you said about parents and friends. I like what you said about how certain things need to be said differently to different audiences.
